Suitcase Fusion uses seats (also referred to as "license seats" or "licenses") to determine who can log in to Suitcase.
If you buy a single-seat subscription for Suitcase Fusion, you are automatically assigned the Suitcase Fusion license seat. If you buy a multi-seat subscription, you must assign seats in your subscription to your users before they can use Suitcase Fusion.
Log in to Extensis Connect at https://connect.extensis.com/. If you have more than one set of Suitcase Fusion products to manage, a Suitcase Fusion subscription will have an expiration date.
Adding users
To add a user to your subscription, click Invite User. Enter the email address, first name, and last name of the user and select a role, then click Send Invite:
- Users can log in to Suitcase Fusion but can't manage other users
- License Managers can manage other users but can't log in to Suitcase Fusion
- Administrators can do both
The user gets a license seat and is sent a welcome email with information on getting set up. If they don't have an Extensis account, they will receive a second email with a new, temporary password.
You can see the number of assigned seats and the total number of available seats in the lower-left corner of the Admin tab. Users with the User and Administrator roles take up seats; a License Manager does not.
Changing a user's role
To change a user's role, click the pencil icon in the upper-left corner of the user's tile. An Edit User dialog will appear.
Select the new role, then click Update. You must have at least one Administrator; there is no limit on how many people can be Administrators. You can only have one License Manager.
If you make a User or Administrator a License Manager, it frees up a seat. You can't make a License Manager into a User or Administrator unless there is a free seat.

Removing users
To remove a user from your subscription, click the trash icon in the upper-left corner of the user's tile. A Delete User dialog will appear; when you click Delete, they are removed from the list of users and their seat is released.
