Solution
Preparing to uninstall Connect Fonts
You can download installers for Suitcase Fusion v22 from https://www.extensis.com/support/suitcase-fusion-22.
The easiest way to revert to Suitcase Fusion is to convert your local libraries to cloud libraries. For more information, go to Put your Fonts in the Cloud.
- If you have cloud libraries, see "Using cloud libraries to restore your font vault".
- If you don't have cloud libraries but you have a Suitcase Fusion archive, see "Using an archive to restore your font vault".
- If you don't have cloud libraries or a Suitcase Fusion archive, see "Recreating your font vault by hand". Note: This method does not preserve any custom styles, classifications, or keywords.
In Connect Fonts, choose Connect Fonts > Manage Plugins (macOS) or Edit > Manage Plugins (Windows). Uninstall the auto-activation plug-ins from Sketch and any Adobe Creative Cloud applications you are using. For information on removing the plug-ins, go to Using Suitcase Fusion auto-activation plug-ins.
On macOS, choose Connect Fonts > Preferences. Click "Stop Connect Fonts Type Core"; Connect Fonts will close. Select the Go menu in the Finder and hold the Option key down; a Library menu option will be added. Select Library.
In the user's Library folder, open the Preferences folder. Move the following files, if present, to the Trash:
- com.extensis.SuitcaseFusion.db
- com.extensis.SuitcaseFusion.plist
