Suitcase TeamSync uses licenses (also referred to as “license seats” or “seats”) to determine who can use your TeamSync shared libraries. A TeamSync license allows you to log in to Suitcase Fusion without requiring a separate Suitcase Fusion license.
Log in to the license management site at https://manage.extensis.com/. If you have more than one set of Suitcase products to manage, you will be asked to select one. Select TeamSync.

Assigning licenses to users
Click Invite User. Enter the email address, first name, and last name of the person you are assigning the license to.

Choose the user’s permission level:
- Read Only: The user can activate and deactivate fonts
- Modify: The user can activate and deactivate fonts, and add fonts to or remove fonts from your libraries
- Administrator: The user can activate and deactivate fonts, add fonts to or remove fonts from your libraries, and administer the TeamSync licenses
The permission level applies to all of the libraries the user will have access to. The Read Only permission works for most users; for users who will be adding fonts to your TeamSync libraries, choose Modify instead.
The Collect for Output checkbox controls whether the user can collect fonts out of TeamSync libraries.
When you click Invite User, a license is assigned to that user and they will be sent a welcome email with information on how to get Suitcase Fusion if they do not already have it. If they do not have an Extensis account already, they will also receive an email with a new, temporary password for logging in.
The Users tab at the top will show that a license has been assigned.

Removing licenses from users
To remove a license from a user, select their name in the user list and click Remove User. A confirmation dialog will appear; when you click Remove, they will be removed from the list of users and their license is returned to your pool.

Managing License Administrators
A License Administrator can only manage licenses and libraries for your Suitcase TeamSync subscription; they cannot log in to Suitcase Fusion. Only Users and Administrator Users take up licenses; License Administrators do not.
To make an Administrator a License Administrator, select their name in the user list and click Make Admin Only. A confirmation dialog will appear.

When you click OK, their license will be returned to your pool and they will now appear as License Administrator in the user list.

A License Administrator can’t be removed from your list of users normally. To remove a License Administrator, you must make them an Administrator first. Note: You must have an available license to turn a License Administrator into an Administrator.
To make a License Administrator an Administrator, select their name in the user list and click Make Admin a User. A confirmation dialog will appear.

When you click OK, a license will be assigned and they will now appear as Administrator User in the user list.
