I converted my Mac Type 1 PostScript fonts so they can be used on Windows. Not all of them work in Suitcase Fusion or Universal Type Client.
There are several utilities that will convert fonts from Mac-only or Windows-only fonts so that they are compatible with another platform. In some cases, it may not be possible to activate them in your font manager or auto-activation fails.
You have two options if converted fonts are not working:
- Contact the vendor of the font conversion utility for assistance
- Purchase new copies of the fonts in a format that is compatible with your operating system. If you need the font to work on both Mac and Windows, be sure to get OpenType or Windows TrueType fonts.
