As you work on a composition, Adobe After Effects will store rendered frames and source images in RAM to improve performance. After Effects can render frames from memory, that contain text before the Suitcase Fusion 7 and UT-Client auto-activation plug-ins can activate the necessary fonts. As a result, those frames will display text incorrectly or as After Effects default font, Myriad Pro.
Clearing the memory cache will cause After Effects to flush the stored frames and images. To clear the memory cache in After Effects:
- Go to the Edit > Purge
- Select All Memory & Disk Cache and click OK
