I am unable to get Single Sign-On to work with Universal Type Server if the server it's on is not connected to the internet.
- Install UTS in Windows 2008 R2 Disconnect the server from the internet Attempt to setup SSO in UMA This will fail.
- Open the server.log and see the parsing error on the XML.
- Connect the machine to the internet Attempt again to setup SSO in UMA.
Notice that this time it works. The reason for this is that the login-config.xml that we use is from an older JBoss version and it calls for a DTD that is not packaged in JBoss 7. Therefore the parsing of the XML will attempt to go to the internet and download the indicated DTD schema from the XMLs DOCTYPE element.
- We should include the 'security_config.dtd' in the jboss/docs/schema folder and we should remove the hardcoded DOCTYPE so that jboss knows that the schema is available locally.
