When I click to download a file, I get a file dialog asking me where to save the file. When I click Save, the dialog does not go away and Safari is unusable until I restart the browser.
The current version of the Flash player plug-in for OS X must be changed to run in Unsafe Mode in order for Portfolio Web to function correctly.
- Open Safari
- Go to the Portfolio Web application (you do not need to log in)
- Go to Safari > Preferences and click on Security
- Under “Internet Plug-ins”, click on Plug-in Settings
Select Adobe Flash Player from the list on the left. You should see the following dialog, with an entry for the server that Portfolio is on. Your server's address may be different.
Click the Allow drop-down menu and select Run in Unsafe Mode. You will see a warning dialog, asking you to confirm the setting.
Click Trust. The entry for the Portfolio server should now have an exclamation point icon, indicating that the plug-in is running in Unsafe Mode for that site.
You can now download files from Portfolio Web.
