Within the main Suitcase Fusion 8 window, you can choose between four different font previews(Tile, Waterfall, Quickmatch, ABC123).
Tile: NEW - Each tile displays the letters “Aa” in the font, the font name and the font’s style or styles.
QuickType: Displays a sentence in each font. You can customize the text and change the text size using the slider, menu, or by entering a value.
WaterFall: Preview in four different sizes and you can customize by entering your own text.
ABC123: This view displays the upper- and lowercase English letters, digits, and some standard symbols.
Note: Suitcase Fusion v19.1 Update to Previews
By default when you first open Suitcase Fusion 8 (after the 19.1 update), all fonts will be grouped by family(on Mac). You can get back to the Tile View, Quicktype, Waterfall, ABC1123, by going to Suitcase > View > Group Fonts by Family (Mac/Win).
Shortcut: Command E (Mac) or Control E (Win) will toggle between Grouping/Ungrouping and the preview.
When fonts are grouped and collapsed, you can preview a single font by clicking the triangle to the left of the font name. You can also expand and collapse all grouped previews by holding the Shift key and clicking the triangle.
