You can copy or move fonts between sets and libraries with almost no restrictions.

To move fonts from one set to another within the same library, click the source set, select the fonts in the Fonts pane, then drag the selected fonts to the destination set.

To copy fonts from one set to another within the same library, click the source set, select the fonts, hold down the OPTION key (Mac) or ALT key (Windows), then drag the fonts to the destination set.

To copy fonts from one library to a different library, click the source library (or a set within the source library), select the fonts, then drag the fonts to the destination library (or to a set in the destination library).

To copy a set from one library to another, drag the source set to the target library.

To copy a font from a tracked document to a set or library, select the document, open its Info panel, click theFont Usage tab, select the fonts, then drag the selected fonts to the destination.
Here are the tasks that you cannot perform within the Connect Fonts desktop app:

You cannot copy or move fonts in to or out of the Adobe Fonts library.
No set operations are possible within the Adobe Fonts library.
To add or remove fonts from the Adobe Fonts library, use the Adobe Creative Cloud application.

You cannot collect fonts from the Adobe Fonts library.

You cannot copy or move fonts in to the Google Fonts library.
You can copy fonts from the Google Fonts library to another library, but you cannot move fonts from the Google Fonts library.

You cannot copy or move fonts in to or out of any of the System Fonts libraries.
On macOS, use the Font Book application to remove fonts from the User library.
On Windows, use the Fonts control panel to remove fonts.

You cannot copy or move fonts into any Smart Search.
Smart Searches are not libraries or sets; you should be able to copy fonts out of most Smart Searches, depending on the library that the font originates from. Learn more

Tracked documents are not libraries or sets; they only show fonts that have been used in the document.
