Solution
This issue occurs if crucial components of your font vault are missing or damaged. To resolve this:
MacOS
- In Finder, click Go>Go to folder (or press shift+⌘+G on your keyboard)
- Copy and paste the following, then press return on your keyboard:
~/Library/Extensis/Connect Fonts - Drag the Connect Fonts.fontvault file to your desktop (do not trash)
- Re-open Connect
Windows
- Download and unzip this script: Vault Mover
- Close any application you currently have open
- Double click the VaultMover.cmd file you unzipped (this will restart your computer)
- Once you've logged back into your computer re-open Connect
