Suitcase Fusion 8 (v19.1 or higher) is now able to connect to your Fonts.com, MyFonts and Monotype Enterprise font libraries.
NOTE - MyFonts.com, Fonts.com and Monotype all require an account to be created on each website in order for you to connect to their service. Subscription fees may apply for each service. Please visit the corresponding websites for more details.
In order to connect your Monotype accounts you must download and use the SkyFonts application from the Monotype’s website:
You can also select the SkyFonts Library from left hand panel in the under the Third-Party Fonts section of Suitcase’s Libraries menu. This will create a link button in the main preview panel of Suitcase Fusion and take you to their website.
Once you have installed the SkyFonts application on your computer, you will need to open and login to your account(s). You can accomplish this by launching the SkyFonts application and selecting the GEAR icon in the upper right corner of the SkyFonts application and select settings
In the settings window, select the Services tab and log in to one or more of your Monotype accounts.
Once you have logged in to your accounts, you should see fonts displayed in your SkyFonts panel.
If you are not seeing fonts in this panel, you have not selected to have them installed to SkyFonts from the services website. Please visit each site and open your orders page and select Install Fonts to SkyFonts
Once the font has installed to SkyFonts, you will receive a message like the one below:
When fonts appear in your SkyFonts panel, you will need to restart your computer in order for the fonts to appear in your SkyFonts Library menu of Suitcase Fusion.
