Products affected:
Express Server 9.5
Summary of problem:
Previous versions of Express Server allowed you to continue using the same license code after an upgrade. Express Server 9.5 requires a completely new license format that is incompatible with older Express Server license codes. LizardTech provides a new 30-day trial license to allow Express Server to function until a new license code is obtained. After this trial period expires Express Server will no longer function. Make sure to follow the process below as soon as possible after upgrading to avoid any server interruptions. If you want to obtain a new license code before upgrading, refer to the Can I get a new Express Server 9.5 license code before upgrading? knowledge base article.
IMPORTANT NOTE: You must have a current support agreement with LizardTech in order to receive a new license code. If you are not sure about your support agreement status please contact the sales rep in your area.
