IMPORTANT NOTE: GeoExpress 10 is a new version that only affects the client application of GeoExpress. It requires a new and specific serial number for version 10 from Extensis. No changes are necessary or recommended on the license server for this upgrade.

- Download the installer from the GeoExpress support page.
- Once downloaded, click Setup.exe to start the installation process.
- The installer will prompt for your serial number. You can find this in the order confirmation that you received from Extensis. If you do not know the serial number, you can select the Trial Mode checkbox and manually enter it after the installation.
- When completed click “Finish”.
- If you did not have the serial number during installation, open GeoExpress and go to Options > Licensing to enter your serial number. Review the serial number knowledgebase article if you need assistance.
- To license the software, click the "Send Activation Request" from the License and Cartridge Management window. Fill and submit the request form and someone from Extensis Support will send your new license once the information verified.
- NOTE - If the Send Activate Request Link does not work, please contact our Support Team.
Upgrading from GeoExpress 9.5 and newer:
- Download the installer from the GeoExpress support page.
- Once downloaded, click Setup.exe to start the installation process.
- Select the Update option on the installer to install the new version. The GeoExpress installer no longer needs to uninstall the current version.
- When completed click “Finish”.

Instructions for GeoExpress 9.1 and earlier:
IMPORTANT NOTE: Installing GeoExpress 10 will uninstall any previous versions of the software. GeoExpress 10 requires a serial number issued from Extensis in order to function. You must have a current support agreement with Extensis in order to receive a serial number.
- Uninstall your current version of GeoExpress in the control panel. Do not uninstall the cartridge manager if you have one installed. If the uninstall tool prompts you to restart the computer at this point make sure you restart before proceeding to installing the new version!
- Download the installer from the GeoExpress support page.
- Once downloaded, click Setup.exe to start the installation process.
- The installer will prompt for your serial number. You can find this in the order confirmation that you received from Extensis. If you do not know the serial number, you can select the Trial Mode checkbox and manually enter it after the installation.
- When completed click “Finish”.
- If you did not have the serial number during installation, open GeoExpress and go to Options > Licensing to enter your serial number. Review the serial number knowledgebase article if you need assistance.

Instructions for requesting a new Data Cartridge:
- As part of your product renewal, please send us the data cartridge ID when you are able and we will send out a new cartridge.
- You can find your Cartridge information by going to - Start > All Programs > LizardTech > Express Cartridge Manager > Cartridge Manager Info.
- Run the program and then forward the original purchase email you received with a screenshot of the results to our Support Team.

GeoExpress ISO – This disc image includes all the components of GeoExpress, command line tools, license server, GeoViewer, ExpressView Browser Plug-In, Express Cartridge Manager Server, and Linux installations. (This ISO file must be burned to a DVD before running and the file download is 1.5GB)
