Suitcase Fusion provides font panels for Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InCopy, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop. The font panels give you an easy way to preview and activate your fonts without switching back to Suitcase Fusion.
The font panels are installed along with the auto-activation plug-ins. For more information, go to Using Suitcase Fusion auto-activation plug-ins.
Applying fonts using the Extensis font panel
Select a text layer (Adobe Photoshop) or text block (Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InCopy, and Adobe InDesign), then select a font in the font panel to apply the font to the text layer or block. You can also select a piece of text in a text block (Illustrator, InCopy, and InDesign only), then select a font to apply the font to the selected text.
Using digests in the Extensis font panel
A digest is a saved collection of fonts in the Extensis font panel. Selecting a digest in the dropdown menu displays only the fonts in the digest.
To create a new digest, click the plus (+) button. You can give the digest a name and select any combination of font libaries, sets, and Smart Searches.
To delete a digest, select it from the dropdown menu then click the minus (–) button.
