NOTE: This article ONLY refers to the process of removing fonts from the Connect Fonts web application.
There are two ways you can remove fonts:
-
You can remove a font from a set or a library, leaving it alone wherever else it exists.
-
You can also remove a font from everywhere: all team libraries, your personal libraries, and the All Fonts collection.
If you remove a font from everywhere: that’s it; that font will no longer be available to any users in your team. (NOTE: When you remove a font from everywhere, it doesn’t affect the same font in the personal libraries of other team members. “Everywhere” isn’t actually everywhere. It is only the shared libraries and sets)
The options available depend on the collection (set, team library, personal library, or All Fonts) where you select fonts to remove, and how many libraries those fonts belong to.
-
In a set:
Select a font and click Remove. Connect Fonts will remove the font from that set but not the set’s parent library.
-
In a team library:
Select a font and click Remove. Connect Fonts will prompt you to remove the font from the current library, or from everywhere.
-
In a personal library:
Select a font and click Remove. Connect Fonts will prompt you to remove the font from the current library, or from everywhere.
-
In All Fonts:
Select a font and click Remove. Connect Fonts will prompt you to remove the font from everywhere.
