Move Local Libraries To The Cloud
Connect Fonts uses Personal Cloud Libraries as an option to store your fonts in the cloud to sync them between your personal computers, or to make your font libraries available on the Connect Fonts for web client (https://connect.extensis.com/fonts). Fonts stored in Cloud Libraries are still stored locally on your computer, as they're retained inside the Connect Fonts font vault; they're just also copied to the cloud.
Cloud Library sync was first introduced in Suitcase Fusion 7 (version 18.x) for standalone and Suitcase TeamSync users, though "Personal Cloud Libraries" were previously called "TypeSync Libraries" until Suitcase Fusion version 22, and all versions of Connect Fonts.
In order to take advantage of this cloud library sync feature, convert your Local Libraries into Personal Cloud Libraries:
-
Open Connect Fonts
-
Select each of your Local Libraries, one at a time
In Connect Fonts, local libraries have this icon:
-
Choose File > Cloud Libraries > Convert to Personal Cloud Library
Connect Fonts will move your library to the cloud:
-
Repeat these steps until you have converted all of your Local Libraries to Personal Cloud Libraries
