This article describes how to move an existing Connect Fonts version 22 or Connect Fonts version 23 or later installation to a new computer running the same or newer version.
If you are upgrading from an older version of Connect Fonts to the current version of Connect Fonts and are moving to a different computer, learn more at Upgrading to Suitcase Fusion from a previous version.
Preferred method: Using cloud libraries to migrate your font vault
When you convert your local libraries to personal cloud libraries, Connect Fonts copies them to the cloud. Once you log in on another computer, Connect Fonts downloads all of your cloud libraries automatically.
- Open Connect Fonts and select your font library from Local Libraries
- Choose File > Cloud Libraries > Convert to Personal Cloud Library
If you have more than one local library, you must select and convert each library individually.

Creating an archive and restoring it to another computer
You can create a Connect Fonts archive and restore it to the copy of Connect Fonts on the new computer.
For information on creating and restoring Connect Fonts archives, go to Backing up your Suitcase Fusion font vault and Restoring from a Suitcase Fusion archive.
