Extensis gathers product information to help better understand our customer’s needs in order to deliver the best software. Participation is optional. Review the following frequently asked questions for details.
Information We Collect
Extensis collects system and product information such as:
- Operating system, CPU, memory, and storage details
- Product information such as product version and enabled add-ons or optional modules
- Extensis account ID used to activate and license the product
- User behavior
- Number of current sessions
- Number of seats
- Other data items
NOTE: Portfolio 3 only collects anonymous usage data.
How We Use Collected Information
The collected information is reviewed to help us improve our products and understand how our customers are using Portfolio. We may follow up with individual customers on a case-by-case basis, as outlined in the Portfolio End User License Agreement.
Opting In or Out at Installation
When you install the Portfolio server, the installer will request your consent to collect the above types of data. If you do not want to participate you can opt-out at this time.
NOTE: An Internet connection is required to participate. If an Internet connection is not available the information is saved and transmitted when a connection is restored.
Opting In or Out at a Later Time
Participation is voluntary and you can opt-out at any time.
To change your participation, open the Portfolio Administration application, click Global Settings, click Analytics, and select or de-select the option to share usage data.
Our Privacy Policies
Extensis works hard to protect your privacy and only uses information collected to improve our products and solutions. The information collected is not shared outside of Extensis.
