Asset Preview

To preview an asset, double-click its thumbnail.

If the asset is an image, the preview will show a zoomable, scrollable, larger version of the image.

If the asset is a PDF, the preview will show you a zoomable view that you can page through and copy text from.

If the asset is a video, the preview shows a playable view.

If the asset is any other type of file, the preview will show either an image of the first page of the document, a preview resource embedded in the asset file, or a generic icon.

Image preview

When you preview an image, you have the following controls available:

1. Return to the main window.

2. Zoom the preview smaller (–) or larger (+).

3. Download the asset.

4. Remove or delete the asset.

5. Show or hide the asset metadata pane.

6. Close the asset metadata pane.

7. Edit the asset metadata.

   See Editing Asset Metadata for details about editing an asset’s metadata.

8. View the previous asset in the selection. ( arrows will appear once one is hovered over) 

9. View the next asset in the selection. 

PDF preview

When you preview a PDF, you have the following controls available:

1. Return to the main window.

2. Download the PDF.

3. Remove or delete the PDF.

   See Deleting Assets for the distinction between removing and deleting.

4. Show or hide the asset metadata pane.

5. Close the asset metadata pane.

6. Edit the PDF metadata.

   See Editing Asset Metadata for details about editing an asset’s metadata.

7. View the previous asset in the selection.

8. View the next asset in the selection.

9. View the previous or next page in the PDF.

10. Zoom the PDF larger (+) or smaller (–).

Video preview

When you preview a video, you have the following controls available:

1. Return to the main window.

2. Download the video.

3. Remove or delete the video.

4. Show or hide the asset metadata pane.

5. Close the asset metadata pane.

6. Edit the video metadata.

   See Editing Asset Metadata for details about editing an asset’s metadata.

7. View the previous asset in the selection.

8. Play the video.

   This icon disappears when playback starts.

9. View the next asset in the selection.

10. Video playback controls.

    These controls appear when playback starts.

    Some platforms or browsers may display slightly different controls.
