The Safari plug-in for Connect Fonts was deprecated when the new UI was released for Extensis Connect
Why was it deprecated?
Use of the font client in Safari required both the plug-in and the Connect Fonts desktop application to be installed. Now that the Extensis Connect desktop application mirrors the web interface the need for Safari to perform font client tasks is no longer needed
Can I still use Safari?
For administrative tasks like:
- Managing Users
- Creating Teams
- Assigning Libraries Users & Teams
you can continue to access the Connect platform in Safari without the need for the plug-in or desktop application
